I'm actually many things in one. I'm first and foremost one of those "designer people" you hear about. I at home with multiple forms of Digital Media; Game Design, Graphic Design, Web... You name it, I've probably had a job doing it.
I've produced modifications for various video games over the past decade, my first REAL hobby. Then came college, bringing Graphic and Web Design to my attention, as well as giving me the opportunity to meet several like-minded students who I’ve helped built games with using Unreal Engine 3 and Torque Game Engine Advanced. Our most recent game, “Clastle”, is now available for purchase online.
I think that the critical thinking behind great video game design could be compared to neuroscience in that (if used correctly) it can give us a unique way of understanding how people might react in a controlled scenario, whether actual or virtual.
